TrustCart combines automated review analysis, cross-market price tracking, and GPT-4 driven recommendation logic to help users decide what to buy. Built with a React 18 + TypeScript frontend (Vite, Tailwind CSS) and a Node.js + Express TypeScript backend, it uses MongoDB (Mongoose) on MongoDB Atlas for persistence, Firebase Auth for authentication, and OpenAI (GPT-4) for recommendation and review analysis. The platform computes trust scores from review patterns and seller signals, displays historical price trends for products on Amazon and Daraz, and provides personalized BUY/WAIT/AVOID guidance with confidence scores.
